PLANNED GIVING

The Bible teaches us that we are to be good stewards of our assets.  Being a good steward includes taking care of those whom we love, as well as those who are less fortunate.  Planned Giving refers to gifts that we make during our lifetime or at the time of our deaths to support the missions of the Church and other charitable institutions that are important to us.

In your annual giving, you support the day-to-day operations of the Church and you make a personal statement about what South Church and the Word of God mean to you and how you wish to support the missions of the Church.  Planned Giving asks you to make that statement permanent by giving to the Church out of your accumulated assets, so that the Church can continue to thrive and grow for years to come. Everyone can engage in Planned Giving – there is no minimum amount and no set manner in which a planned gift must be made.
