New in 2025! In addition to financial pledges, we are asking members to consider pledging their time and talents to South Church. Please check off where you are interested in knowing more about joining one of these missions:

Building and Grounds (maintenance, repair, upkeep, and preservation of the Church building)

Church Guild (Communion preparations, arranging/hosting receptions; baking desserts for those receptions)

Delegates Committee (represents the Church at the New Hampshire Conference and other religious meetings/ecclesiastical councils)

Faith Formation (supports Christian Education through nursery, church school, and youth groups; fosters fellowship of the Church)

Faith In Action (supports the congregation in providing loving service in the Concord community and beyond)

Giving (carries out the Pledge Campaign to fund the annual Church budget)

Lay Ministry Visitors (offer a home visit to members of the congregation who are in times of transition in life)

Pastor’s Aid (members visit South Churchers who have been designated as "shut-ins" by the pastor)

Personnel Committee (supports Church staff)

Planned Giving (works with individuals planning for the funds they want to leave to the Church after their passing)

Relief Society (provides financial assistance within the Emergency Assistance Network (EAN) and through Pastor/Parishioner requests)

Worship & Spiritual Life (manages the spiritual life of the Church, e.g. aspects of worship services, member care, counsel to other Church groups)

Another way to contribute your time and talents is to volunteer for specific tasks. Please check off where you would like more information and/or if you have an interest in one or more of the following:
